File preparation

What Files Do We Need?

To start fabrication we need your Gerber files exported from your PCB design tool (KiCad, Altium, Eagle, EasyEDA, etc.). Send them as a ZIP archive to our email or upload them through the quote form.

For assembly orders, also include your Bill of Materials (BOM) and component centroid / pick-and-place file. The more information you provide up front, the faster we can confirm your quote.

Required for fabrication

  • Gerber files for all copper layers (RS-274X format)
  • Drill file (.DRL or Excellon format)
  • Board outline / mechanical layer
  • Solder mask layers (top & bottom)
  • Silkscreen layers (top & bottom, if applicable)

Additional files for assembly

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) — Excel or CSV
  • Component centroid / pick-and-place file
  • Assembly drawing or reference image (optional but helpful)

Tips for clean Gerber export

  • Export all layers including edge cuts / board outline
  • Use RS-274X Gerber format (not RS-274D)
  • Include separate drill file in Excellon format
  • Do not merge all layers into a single file
  • Name layers clearly — e.g. Top Copper, Bottom Copper, F.Mask, B.Mask
  • ZIP all files into a single archive before sending
  • Include board thickness, copper weight, and finish in your message

Placing an order

How the Quote & Order Process Works

From your first enquiry to boards at your door — here's what to expect at each step.

1

Submit your files or use the instant quote tool

Send your Gerber ZIP and board specifications via email or use the online quote calculator for standard boards. Include quantity, material, layers, finish, and any special requirements.

2

We review and confirm pricing

Our team reviews your files for DFM issues and confirms pricing within one business day. If we find any questions or concerns in your files, we'll contact you before proceeding.

3

Order confirmation and payment

Once you approve the quote, we confirm your order details, revision, and delivery address. Payment terms are confirmed at this stage — production begins after confirmation.

4

Production and inspection

Your boards enter our production line. Each order goes through our standard inspection stages — AOI, electrical test, and final visual check — before packaging.

5

Dispatch and delivery

Boards are packed and dispatched by your agreed date. We'll send tracking details when your shipment leaves our facility. We ship across India and internationally.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

There is no strict minimum order quantity — we manufacture from a single prototype board upwards. Pricing per unit reduces at higher quantities. Contact us for specific pricing based on your board specs and quantity.
Standard fabrication lead time depends on board complexity, quantity, and current production load. Simple single or double-sided boards can often be turned around in 3–7 working days. Multilayer and complex boards typically take longer. Express 24-hour turnaround is available for urgent prototype requirements — ask our team when you submit your files.
We manufacture Single Sided PCBs, Double Sided PTH (through-hole plating) and NON-PTH PCBs, Multilayer PCBs, Flexible PCBs, and Metal Core PCBs (MCPCB). We prioritise high-grade FR-4 with Tg 150 °C and Tg 170 °C class options for quality-critical builds. For the full list, see our PCB Fabrication page and the other service pages in the menu above.
Yes. We offer lead-free surface finishes including ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold), lead-free HASL, and OSP (Organic Solderability Preservative). Please specify your finish requirement when requesting a quote.
We offer HASL (leaded), HASL lead-free, ENIG, and OSP finishes. HASL is the most common and cost-effective option for standard commercial boards. ENIG is recommended for fine-pitch SMT components, flat pads, and press-fit connectors.
Yes. 100% electrical continuity and isolation testing (E-test) is performed on every board before dispatch. This confirms there are no opens or shorts in the net list, so you receive boards that match your design intent.
Yes — we offer full turnkey PCB assembly (SMT, through-hole, and mixed). Send us your Gerber files, BOM, and centroid file for a combined fabrication and assembly quote. We also support consigned material assembly where you supply the components. Visit our Assembly service page for details.
We offer Green, Red, Blue, Black, White, and Yellow solder mask. Green is the standard and most readily available colour. Other colours may have slightly longer lead times — please mention your preference when requesting a quote.
Yes, we ship internationally. Shipping costs and lead times vary by destination. Please mention your delivery country when requesting a quote and we'll include shipping options in our response.
We send tracking details by email when your shipment is dispatched. If you have questions about an order in production, contact us at sbelectronics01@gmail.com or call +91 9624 170 703 with your order reference.
